Mycase Mailbox

MyCase mailbox is a complicated integration with the Nylas Platform designed to bring user’s email (from Outlook, Google and other 3rd party providers) directly into MyCase. Users can resolve emails directly to a case or a contact - creating artifacts that can be referenced later or used to create time entries.

Customer Research & Testing

 

As with nearly every project at MyCase, I started the E-Mail feature design with a round of user testing/concept validation. After combing customer feedback regarding the previous E-Mail integration, I worked with product and engineering to develop a testing prototype. See the findings below:

We use EnjoyHQ to compile and parse customer feedback in MyCase. For E-mail we tested our concept with 19 different users and incorporated their feedback into multiple versions of my prototype. I continue to monitor feedback daily but the release has been a smash hit. DAU has increased to a degree that we’ve had to alter our KPIs due to the fact our email feature has upped average usage by more than 4 hours per day (lawyers send a lot of emails).

I could work inside MyCase all day every day. I have been in my email so much today because its so easy. It's right there. I have been in the MyCase portal ALL day today, which doesn't normally happen.
